Peter & Irina Tkachuk

A Vision

It started with an Ark

Peter and Irina Tkachuk started Noah’s Ark Missions over 25 years ago in Ukraine with camps for kids!

Peter built an ark (an actual boat!), and he and Irina started hosting VBS-style summer camps for children in Ukrainian villages where the Gospel is rarely preached.

A ministry

We grew as the ministry grew

From there, Noah’s Ark Missions grew in leaps and bounds!

Peter and Irina soon learned that camps, rafting trips, and prayer retreats provided an open door to share Christ with people of all ages throughout Ukraine!

Over the years, Noah’s Ark expanded to include retreats and camps for fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, women’s groups, prayer groups, and much more!

From each camp, small groups formed to meet weekly and continue to grow together in faith.

A home

The Lord expanded our territory

Several years before the war broke out, God provided Peter and Irina and their ministry with a miraculous opportunity to purchase land and a building for retreats and camps. Peter began renovations, along with help from teams and generous donors, and it became a perfect retreat center.

When the war started, it was clear God had given them a building for an even greater purpose. The building is now a hub for ministry and all war-related missions. It has become a place of refuge for many.

A mission

A new initiative

When the war started, the Noah’s Ark team did not hesitate to get involved. Peter and their son were on the ground in Ukraine. Irina quickly flew from the US to Europe to start gathering humanitarian supplies and aid. From there, a brand new initiative began and Noah’s Ark became a hub for Christ’s love and practical help to the people of Ukraine who are most affected by the war. Their daily work is more exhausting than most people could imagine, but they rejoice to be God’s hands and feet.
